About Me

Abhishek Sharma

CS Graduate and software developer passionate about building scalable, user-focused applications. My work spans full-stack web, mobile development, and AI integrations—with a growing focus on RAG systems and intelligent agents.

Biography

Hey, I’m Abhishek — a developer who likes turning ideas into working products. I started out just curious about how apps worked, and that curiosity pretty much snowballed into studying Computer Science and building all kinds of projects.

“Clever code makes you feel smart. Simple code helps you sleep better.”

Most of what I do sits somewhere between frontend, backend, and mobile. I enjoy shipping stuff that actually feels good to use, not just works. That balance between technical detail and user experience is what keeps me hooked.

What I’m into right now

Playing around with RAG systems, AI agents, and Appwrite backends. Also deep diving into Jetpack Compose and native Android — because I think mobile + AI is where a lot of the fun is headed.

Hackathons have been a big part of my story — they pushed me to ship fast, solve problems creatively, and actually enjoy the chaos. Whether it was building a media verification tool in a day or trying out weird new ideas, those sprints shaped how I work.

Outside of projects, I’m just trying to keep learning, experimenting, and building things that are both useful and a little exciting. That’s the vibe I want to carry into whatever I work on next.

Experience

Software Development Intern

StardomJan 2025 – Jun 2025

Took charge of building Stardom’s web presence from scratch with Next.js. Tweaked and tuned the frontend till it actually felt fast. Also set up their cloud infra + email systems — basically made sure things didn’t break when people actually started using it.

Winner – Network18 Track

Gen AI Exchange Hackathon (Google)Oct 2024

Built ‘Credify’, an AI-powered media verification tool. We hacked together Machine Learning + attribution logic to fight fake media — ended up winning the track. Intense 1 month, but super worth it.

Education

B.E. in Computer Science & Engineering

CCET, Panjab University2021–2025

Graduated with an 8.31 CGPA. Learnt my foundations in CS, but honestly most growth came from side projects and hackathons I kept grinding on.

CGPA: 8.31

12th Grade (CBSE)

Mount Carmel School, Chandigarh2021

Science + Math focus. Scored 92.4% — lots of late-night physics + coding side quests.

Score: 92.4%

10th Grade (CBSE)

Mount Carmel School, Chandigarh2019

Strong academics (92.2%) but also when I really got hooked on tinkering with computers beyond the classroom.

Score: 92.2%

Beyond Code

When I'm not coding, you'll find me exploring these interests and hobbies.

Photography

Got into the habit of clicking random city corners and skies. My gallery is basically 70% cloud pics at this point.

Reading

Currently juggling Naval’s Almanack and The Courage to be Disliked. I like books that make you pause mid-page and rethink stuff.

Music

Lo-fi for deep work, rock when I’m stuck debugging, and the occasional classical binge when I need a brain reset.

Gaming

Valorant for the chaos, RDR2 for the escape. Honestly the best way to cool down after a long coding session.

Sci-Fi Media

Obsessed with sci-fi that feels a little too close to reality. Interstellar and The Martian are on permanent rewatch.

Exploration

Weekends = wandering streets, chasing food stalls, or finding low-key cafes to sit and code/read for hours.
