about me
software engineer at wednesday. i build ai pipelines, android apps, and web platforms. i care about shipping things that actually work, not just things that look good in a PR description.
biography
hey, i'm abhishek. a dev who turns ideas into working products. started curious about how apps worked, and that curiosity snowballed into cs and shipping things constantly.
"clever code makes you feel smart. simple code helps you sleep better."
most of what i do sits somewhere between frontend, backend, and mobile. i enjoy shipping stuff that actually feels good to use, not just works. that balance between technical detail and user experience is what keeps me hooked.
what i'm into right now
currently at wednesday: building an autonomous ai content pipeline (langgraph + fastapi + pgvector), contributed to off grid's tts and hands-free voice chat loop with hardware aec, and a multi-tenant lms with full aws infra. when i'm not doing that, i'm tinkering on side projects.
hackathons shaped a lot of how i work. building a media verification tool in a day, shipping under pressure, learning that a working v1 is worth more than a perfect v0. those sprints are in my muscle memory.
full-time at wednesday, still finding time to tinker. side projects, new tools, things that seemed interesting at midnight. that's where most of the actual growth happens anyway.
Experience
building production systems end-to-end. shipped an autonomous multi-agent ai content pipeline (langgraph, fastapi, postgresql + pgvector), contributed to off grid's tts and hands-free voice chat loop with hardware aec, and built a multi-tenant lms queue system on aws (ecs, sqs, terraform). passed probation. still going.
took charge of building stardom's web presence from scratch with next.js. tweaked and tuned the frontend till it actually felt fast. also set up their cloud infra + email systems. basically made sure things didn't break when people actually started using it.
built 'credify', an ai-powered media verification tool. we hacked together machine learning + attribution logic to fight fake media and ended up winning the track. intense 1 month, but super worth it.
Education
graduated with an 8.31 cgpa. learnt my foundations in cs, but honestly most growth came from side projects and hackathons i kept grinding on.
science + math focus. scored 92.4%. lots of late-night physics + coding side quests.
strong academics (92.2%) but also when i really got hooked on tinkering with computers beyond the classroom.

Photography
got into the habit of clicking random city corners and skies. my gallery is basically 70% cloud pics at this point.
Reading
currently juggling naval's almanack and the courage to be disliked. i like books that make you pause mid-page and rethink stuff.
Music
lo-fi for deep work, rock when i'm stuck debugging, and the occasional classical binge when i need a brain reset.
Gaming
valorant for the chaos, rdr2 for the escape. honestly the best way to cool down after a long coding session.
Sci-Fi Media
obsessed with sci-fi that feels a little too close to reality. interstellar and the martian are on permanent rewatch.
Exploration
weekends = wandering streets, chasing food stalls, or finding low-key cafes to sit and code/read for hours.
